Pra' d Mill Priory sui juris

Currently the monastery Dominus Tecum Pra 'd Mill is a dependent priory of' Abbey of Lerins, this actually means that there is a community in itself, the superior of the community is the abbot of Lerins appointing a Prior in his stead. Our constitutions provide that with nine solemnly professed, in conjunction with economic independence and ability to be intellectually and spiritually, the monks, a community can get priority status sui juris, that is independent of priority. Now comes a new community, which will elect its prior, and will have its own novitiate. On December 4, if we are able to elect a prior, Dominus Tecum to the monastery Pra 'd Mill will be a reality even canonically recognized. This is an important milestone because it is an indication of the progress made in the past 14 years.
